Modern Farmhouse

Working with Jonathan Feldman of Feldman Architecture on this new Palo Alto farmhouse, careful thought was given to maintain a linear connection throughout the home, from the entryway paneling and stair treading to the spacing of exterior paneling. Such precise attention to detail carried into the interiors, with a blend of custom, antique and modern pieces coming together in an organic, authentic mix. To complement the informal architecture, the home’s heart, a central dining room, was designed as a gathering space. A full wall of bookshelves faces a glass wall to the terrace, a meeting of intellect and nature.
