The brainchild of Evens Architects and Kitchell Custom Homes, this elegant stone farmhouse represented an escape from the hustle and bustle of life in Los Angeles to a couple in search of literal greener pastures. Nestled among 50 oak trees in Montecito, the property is inspired by the surrounding landscape. We worked alongside the impeccable lighting designer Ann Kale to create intimacy throughout the sprawling estate, layering antiques and textures for added comfort. In order to achieve that perfect balance between rustic and refined, we kept the vibe casual, true to its coastal California location.
